What are the best fashion magazines for the everyday person?

My friend loves the show what not to wear, and is always talking about how she wants to update her wardrobe. Her birthday is coming up and I want to get her a subscription to a fashion magazine that she will get good information from and be able to relate to. Any suggestions?

Lucky Magazine is great-it is specifically a devoted fashion magazine. It has all kinds of outfit ideas.
InStyle is also great because unlike Vogue, it is wearable fashion.
I would go with Lucky; there are great tips in there.

Vogue – totally classy timeless fashion
Elle- More European flavour
There are many other ones such as instyle, Cosmopolitan, Harpers to consider also.
